The Hobbit is now a trilogy!

So for those that know me, know that I love all things fantasy and greek related. So I was going through my twitter feed and found out that The Hobbit (Prequel to the Lord of the Rings trilogy) is no longer just two movies but now a trilogy! I know that LOTR isn't for everyone but for fans like me it's awesome news. Peter Jackson announced on his Facebook that he will be expanding the original films into a trilogy as there is so much story to tell. "We were really pleased with the way the story was coming together, in particular, the strength of the characters and the cast who have brought them to life," he wrote. "All of which gave rise to a simple question: do we take this chance to tell more of the tale? And the answer from our perspective as the filmmakers, and as fans, was an unreserved 'yes.'"
